Users

User management in 1Protection.AI is a vital aspect of maintaining security and enabling seamless interaction with various integrations. As an administrator, you have full control over inviting, managing, and configuring user roles within the platform.

Inviting Users

Administrators can invite an unlimited number of users to join the 1Protection.AI platform. Users are essential for interacting with different integrations and ensuring that security policies are consistently enforced across the organization.

To invite users, navigate to the User Management section, where you can send invitations directly via email. Once the invitation is accepted, users can log in and start utilizing the platform.

Managing Users

As an administrator, you have several options for managing users effectively:

  • Password Requests – Send password reset requests to users who may have forgotten their credentials or need to update their passwords.

  • Blocking and Deactivating Users – Temporarily block or deactivate users to restrict their access without fully removing them from the system.

  • Editing User Details – Modify user information and assign roles. Users can either be designated as standard users or administrators.

Managing Roles

Administrators can change the roles of other users, toggling between standard User and Admin roles. However, administrators cannot alter their own roles. To ensure platform security and management continuity, it is important to always have at least one user assigned the Admin role within your tenant.

Best Practices

  • Regularly review user roles and permissions to ensure they align with your organization's structure and security policies.

  • Deactivate accounts that are no longer in use to minimize potential security risks.

  • Maintain at least one active administrator to prevent accidental loss of administrative access.

User management in 1Protection.AI is designed to be intuitive and flexible, allowing administrators to adapt as the organization grows and evolves.
