Detectors in 1Protection.AI are specialized scanning tools that identify specific types of sensitive information across your organization’s data. Detectors are grouped by category, allowing you to select and configure them based on the types of data most relevant to your security needs.

Detector Groups and Examples

1Protection.AI offers the following Detector categories:

• Common Entities: Identifies basic personal information such as First Name, Street Address, Email Address, and Phone Number.

• Finance - Banking: Detects financial identifiers like IBAN codes and SWIFT codes to prevent exposure of banking details.

• Finance - PCI: Includes detectors for Credit Card Numbers, addressing compliance requirements for PCI-DSS.

• PII (Personally Identifiable Information): Detects identifiers such as German ID Numbers and German Passports for data protection in compliance with regional regulations.

• Hardware Identifiers: Detects hardware-specific data such as MAC addresses, IP addresses, and IMEI hardware IDs.
