Policies available exclusively to administrators and allow you to streamline your most common workflows by combining a set of Detection Rules with specific actions to be taken when those rules are triggered. These actions can include:

  • Write a description

  • Automated actions, such as the redaction of findings

  • Alerting through emails

Once defined, a Policy can be utilized in requests to the 1Protection.AI API.

You can obtain a policy UUID by opening the policy in edit mode and copying it from the URL. The URL pattern is as follows: https://app.1protection.ai/app/policies/edit/API/{uuid}.


Create a Policy

To create a Policy, sign in to the 1Protection.AI app, navigate to Policies, and click on Add Policy. Select your integration and configure your Policy as needed. Once you’ve set up your policy, click the "Save Policy" button. Your policy will then be immediately available for use.


Edit a Policy

To edit a Policy, sign in to the 1Protection.AI app, navigate to Policies, and find the policy you want to edit. Click on the three dots next to the policy, and a submenu will open. Select “Edit” from the submenu. After updating your Policy, click the “Save Policy” button. Your changes will be immediately available for use.


Delete a Policy

To delete a policy, sign in to the 1Protection.AI app, navigate to Policies, and select the policy you wish to delete. Click on the three dots next to the policy and choose “Delete” from the submenu. Deleting a Policy means it will no longer be available for use in your integrations. If the policy has already been used, those integrations will stop working.

Please double-check before proceeding, as this action cannot be undone.
